J and I got married on Christmas Eve in Kyoto 2009, 5 years ago! Since we lived in Osaka we have made it a tradition to go back to the shrine we got married at and pray.
This year we went a little earlier than usual as we couldn’t be together for our anniversary or Christmas.
My third visit to Kobe Luminarie, the light up to commemorate the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake.
Twice a year we have an International Lolita Day, the first Saturday in June and the first Saturday in December.
In June we went to the Alice in Wonderland Cafe, and this time to Universal Studios Japan.

Christmas time at Universal Studios Japan!
I went to USJ twice last week, on Monday with J and then on Sunday with the Osaka International Lolitas, here are some pictures of the special winter foods and christmas decorations.
J and I spent a rainy Sunday evening doing the Snowman Festival Snowman Stamp Rally!
After an epic day in Kyoto taking a boat ride down the river and seeing autumn colours at Kodaiji Temple we also went to Nijo Castle to see the art aquarium.
I recently did the Snowman Stamp rally with J and it took us through some new areas and areas we haven’t been to in a long time. Even though it was raining it was fun! The best discovery of the evening (besides 31 ice creams new brown sugar and cinnamon flavour) was Viajero.

Its an affordable jewellery store where everything is customisable.
After taking the boat down the river into Arashiyama we walked around the park a little, then headed back to Higashiyama to visit the light up at Kodaiji Temple.
In the beautiful fall colours we took a long boat ride down the Hozugawa river to Arashiyama.
