About Me

I’ve been living in Japan since June 2012, I’m originally from England and I live in Osaka with my British husband.

I have a science based masters degree and am a certified English teacher in Japan.

I try to experience as much as possible in Japan, as one day I’ll return to the UK.

My interests include (but aren’t limited to) lolita fashion, food and drink, festivals, traditions, travel, photography, Rilakkuma and cosmetics.

Most of my blog posts are about day trips and vacations in Japan. Lots of event reviews, sightseeing trips and what to see and do in Osaka, Kansai and the whole of Japan.

I hope you find my blog interesting and/or useful. If you have any questions about anything I’ve blogged about I’ll do my best to answer it, or if there is anything you’d like to see me blog about let me know!

  1. I don’t know if you know this but they opened a rilakkuma store in kōbe harbor land. If you get a chance you should check it out. :)

  2. Hello Liemzie,
I’m a foreign lolita living in Kyoto (and beginner blogger) and I share many interests with you (such as fashion, Rilakkuma, travelling and photography..)
Would you be interested in meeting up to get to know each other better? I can make the trip to Osaka!
Look foward to hear about you ♡

    • Hi sorry for the late reply!
Thanks for checking my blog <3 let's meet at the next Rilakkuma event in Umeda! :)
Hope you are enjoying living in Japan!

  3. Hi, Liemzie!

I thought it very interesting that you also have a science-based masters degree but are teaching English. I’m currently in England working on a master’s in chemical research, but I’ve been wanting to get more into teaching English as a second language. What kind of certification do you need to teach in Japan?
