In the last year or so I have moved away from Rilakkuma and more towards Duffy and his friends from DisneySea. Valentines day in Japan is mostly about making chocolates for your loved ones. So for Valentines Duffy always has a cooking sweets theme.
Last year we had Gelatoni this year it’s Dear Danny. Personally I think he is completely adorable, and I had to have him!
I love Disney resorts, I love Christmas, the two together?! Waaa!
I had a magical time at DisneySea Christmas Wishes this week, and bought so many goods.
While I’m still sorting through my pictures I hope you enjoy looking at my many purchases.
I had a flying visit to Tokyo this last weekend, I managed to fit lots of excitement into just two days however! For now here are some of the cherry blossom pictures I took.
In late Novemer there was a national holiday in Japan, so I had 3 days off together! Yay. We jumped on the Willer Express Friday night and headed to Tokyo.
As it’s so long ago now, here are the highlights of our trip!
First day we hit Asakusa, Harajuku, Akihabara and Shinjuku. Mostly for shopping.
I haven’t been able to get to Tokyo Disneyland for their Christmas season, but I have been in the past and it was fantastic!
Luckily my friend has been twice this month and was kind enough to pick up a few things for me!
My next day in Tokyo I got up at 6am, quietly got ready and snuck out the hostel, Disneyland is the only thing that would get me up at this time!
What a busy weekend. I nipped to Tokyo for one night to see some friends! The first day I went to Asakusa as it was near my hostel and nothing else was open yet.
