I had a lovely weekend, first I nipped to Jane Marple to buy the Alice dress. The staff member was very sweet and remembered me from the other week, she took the dress I wanted off the rack without me reminding her which one or colour!
Then I met with Anne who is leaving Japan soon :( We visited Starbucks for a Sakura White Chocolate drink. I got the latte and thermos drinks cup.
I spotted the Hello Kitty Collaboration on their website a week or so ago, and forgot about it until I saw it in the corner of my eye in the store.
I liked the gold bow necklace from looking online, but irl I was leaning towards the black, so I got it!
I went to USJ for the first time on Monday, even though I only live 25mins away!
I said I wanted to go back and try the strawberry cake pops here and so today I did!
The cake pop was actually really small, the sponge itself was ok, fairly bland, but under the icing was a super sweet strong strawberry mousse.
I think I’d much rather get a normal donut from Mister Donut, better value for money and tastier!
The strawberry cake pop gets 5/10.
These Hello Kitty donuts are just adorable and after being woken early by the earthquake yesterday I treated myself to a sugar rush!
The hardest part was deciding which to try! I normally like the baked ring donuts so that’s what I went for.
The icing was green apple flavour which I’m not that keen on, but the donut was it’s usual tasty self and it looked cute.
Cuteness 8/10, taste 6/10.
Think Ill try the strawberry cupcake one next!
After a lovely day with Tomoko I met J for dinner, we ate at Asahi Tendon in Umeda, popped by the Rilakkuma store and then via the Daimaru food hall for desert!
Hello delicious looking Hello Kitty cakes!
It was made of about 80% cream so was really rich! I couldn’t even finish eating it :( though I was glad I bought it! I give it 7/10 for deliciousness and cuteness!
