Back on June 7th we celebrated summer International Lolita Day in Kobe, Japan.
First we met up and walked around Kobe Harbourland, where we were booked to have an afternoon tea time cruise on the Concerto.
My first impressions were that it was very elegant! A lady played piano music to welcome us as we boarded.
Our table was in the “Pearl” suite.
I had only made the booking a week before so sadly we didn’t have a window table but it was still pretty amazing.
Most of us had pre-ordered the cake set which came with unlimited soft drinks, including some coffee and nice teas. As the boat set sail and our cakes and food came!
So small but so pretty, and it tasted amazing! Coconut and mango/pineapple island and lemon and lime flavoured sea. It wasn’t filling in the least but it was very good.
After lots of chatting, photo taking and tea drinking we went on the top deck for more pics. We were quite far out at sea.
It was pretty busy and we drew quite a few glances…although noone moved so we could take pictures against the railings together.
We decided to revive some old school livejournal shoe shots and dress shots.
Beat down from the strong winds we went downstairs to the lobby for more posing in the nice chairs.
Before I knew it the boat was headed back into the harbour. The girls got together and bought the official photographers picture, and gifted it to me <3 it will be treasured!
With the captain of our boat who was very sweet.
Off the boat more group shots ensued and we drew quite the crowd. It was hard work!
Hehe but we had fun.
We made a short video to wish lolitas around the world a very happy lolita day.
Thank you everyone who came and made it such a memorable day.
