We went to the Sapporo beer factory and beer hall when we visited Sapporo.
The beer museum was walkable from our hotel.
First we went in, got a guide leaflet and put all our things in a locker and went up to the exhibition floor.
They had a decent display of the history of beer in Japan, the beer making process and the development of the Sapporo beer brand.
At the end of the tour was a small gift shop and tasting area.
Available drinks. Of course we got D the tasting set.
Classic, black label and kaitakushi beer – I liked the kaitakushi beer best!
You are only allowed to stay thirty minutes, but we saw lots of people overstaying that time, and quite a few customers worse for wear.
They had some great photo spots set up!
We decided to head across the road to the Beer Hall, all you can drink and eat Ghengis Khan (lamb) BBQ.
Yummy. Only the fresh and frozen meat were on all you can eat, but we still enjoyed it.
By the time we left it was getting dark and all the illuminations had been set up.
